# Geolocation Viewer

See your device's location — latitude, longitude, accuracy and more — with your permission, using the browser's Geolocation API. Your coordinates are never sent anywhere.

### How it works

The **Geolocation API** (`navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition`) asks your permission, then returns your position from GPS, Wi-Fi and network signals — with an *accuracy* radius in metres. It only runs after you click and grant access, and the coordinates stay on your device: this page never transmits them. The map link opens OpenStreetMap in a new tab if you choose.
