How it works
Your BMR (basal metabolic rate — calories at complete rest) uses the modern Mifflin–St Jeor equation: 10×kg + 6.25×cm − 5×age, then +5 for men or −161 for women. Multiplying by an activity factor (1.2–1.9) gives TDEE, your total daily burn. A ~500 kcal daily deficit or surplus corresponds to roughly half a kilo per week. All computed on your device.
