Each template reflects a widely used approach to lesson design. The Daily Lesson follows the classic I-do / we-do / you-do release of responsibility. 5E Inquiry (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) suits science and discovery-based learning. UDL · Inclusive is built on the Universal Design for Learning principles — firm goals with flexible means across engagement, representation, and expression — so a single plan reaches diverse learners. Weekly gives a Monday-to-Friday overview, and Backward Design (Understanding by Design) starts from desired results and works back to the activities.
These are flexible scaffolds, not rules. Use the sections that fit your lesson and leave the rest blank — empty sections are simply omitted from the printed plan.
